The village is a living village with a permanent population and several shops including two bakeries, a butcher, newsagents, a pharmacy and a small "superette". The supermarket is five minutes drive away, there is also a small weekly market and a visiting "fish van". The oldest part of the village dates back to medieval times and the "Tour" and its fortifications have been lovingly restored. There are also 5 cafes/restaurants in the village.
