THE PROPERTY (11-13 Rue De L'Eglise, Laroque des Alberes, France):

Centrally situated in this small village situated on a small hill on the edge of the plain of Perpignan some 10Km from the Meditteranean, within walking distance of the Spanish border.

THE HOUSE

Ground Floor:

Single garage with easy access from the street, plus a store-room and washing machine.

First Floor:

Fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher which overlooks the garden.
Sitting room/4th bedroom with comfortable double sofa-bed.
Large lounge/dining room with access to the garden

Living Room.

Second Floor:

Three bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds.
Two bathrooms and a separate toilet.
Small kitchen with fridge.
Enclosed verandah overlooking the garden.

The house also has storage heaters for the winter months and an open fireplace.

Main Bedroom.

Other half of the living room. TV with combined video/DVD/CD player. Cable for I-pod.

Modern bathroom with WC, shower and vanity. Other bathroom with proper bath.

THE GARDEN

This is a paved garden with outdoor furniture and barbeque. It has several shrubs and trees, including a lemon tree. From the end of the garden you can see the Mediterranean!

Down stairs to the living room and kitchen, upstairs to the logia (enclosed area, East facing). Through here to the second floor bedrooms and bathrooms.

This is the side entrance to the back garden.

THE STREET

Rue de L'Eglise has the 13th century church at one end and at the other end is a footpath which leads up into the Pyrenean foothills (so eventually to Spain so the locals tell us). About 20 minutes walk up this path is an area where you can swim in the river.
