Penny and Tony Roberts are doctors living in rural Victoria, Australia. We have travelled extensively in Europe and stayed in a variety of hotels, bed and breakfasts, hostels and we have also camped. Our best travelling, where we have been most comfortable, met the locals and had a truly memorable time has been when we have rented short term accommodation. We have learnt from our experiences and have bought a property in the South of France - close to the Spanish border in the Catalan district - to add to our local holiday house on the Great Ocean Road at Lorne.
